Disinfect Shooter
Save the city from the virus by shooting infected people using your high-tech disinfect gun to cure them while also protecting people you've already cured from getting the virus again. Upgrade your disinfect gun and fight with the disease to save the city!
This game was made for a mini game jam organised by the robotics team X Sharc 6838 using a javascript library called p5.js. Theme of the jam was covid-19. This is the game I created for it. I really wanted a top down shooter, so this was my approach.
It really needs some balancing but it's in playable form. I had a lot to add but simply didn't have time. Any feedback would be very appreciated!

Thanks for the feedback! I've created this game on the p5.js web editor, so i will just drop a link to the project so you can check out the source code!
Please note: this game was created for a game jam in a limited time, which means the code has no comments and was done in a hurry, so this code probably won't make too much sense, sorry :c

Hey great game! I'm a bit new to p5js and confused a little on how you got the bullets to shoot in a certain direction. Is there a way you can help me understand? Thanks
Hello! Sorry for seeing your comment late, i created a little project to help you understand the basic idea.

my explanation skills are not so great, so if you have any further questions i would love to answer!
Thank you so much! Especially for the comments to help me understand.
Really sick game! Would love if I could see the code on github, I've been trying to learn p5.js and I think this could be great to learn from. :P
Thank you! Great to hear that.
i've posted the source code, but as i said, it's probably not a good idea to check out game jam source codes as it's hard to read. You can give it a shot though :D
Cool game!!
BTW, how do you download this game from p5.js?? I tried to download my games on p5.js, but it seems ... broken :)
i've posted a link to the project, you can try that out, maybe? :)
Hmmm,... so I google for a bit and it seems that you only need a link to upload your game on to itch.io, isn't it??
nope, at least that's what i know, i had to upload game files, not the link :)
